Thank you for visiting Scientists Warning, a movement formed in 2018 as a public arm of the Alliance of World Scientists in an initiative to involve the wider public as part of a grass roots citizen’s movement.
A part of our mission has been to publicise and advocate for the ‘World Scientists’ Warning to Humanity: A Second Notice’ article by Ripple et al. 2017 and to encourage the public to read and endorse it.
Scientists Warning also host a YouTube channel Scientists Warning TV, which features interviews and conversations with scientists and other leaders in the climate and environmental movements.
In 2020 we became a non-profit organization – Scientists Warning Foundation – and are dedicated to producing content that is fact-checked and evidence-based, reflecting both the scientific consensus and the latest science. We may also address topical issues and subjects that may not yet have a consensus, but where there is growing interest.
We welcome and invite both scientists and non-scientists to sign up to our regular newsletter to stay informed of what we are doing. Feel free to share this link with colleagues, friends and family.
